For this solo project, I chose to rebrand Kubel’s, a beloved restaurant in my hometown that has been a staple since the 1920s. Originally built as a place for tired and hungry fishermen to grab a hot meal and a cold beer, Kubel’s remains a cornerstone of my small fishing town on the coast of New Jersey.
My goal with this rebrand was to give Kubel’s a fresh, modern look while preserving its rich history and nostalgic charm. This project allowed me to showcase my creativity in branding and menu design, striking a balance between tradition and contemporary aesthetics.
On this page, you’ll find before-and-after visuals of the Kubel’s logo, various design concepts I explored, and my final selection that best captured the essence of this historic restaurant.
